Trending - Lamps in the Kitchen

One of the most important things we think about in any space is lighting. Whether that be natural light sources when space planning or different fixtures for those long winter nights.. but one of my favorite trends right now are lamps in the kitchen! We have used in some of recent projects as well as my own home and although we are calling it a trend, I think it is going to stick around.

When trying to achieve that lived-in, warm vibe that so many of our designs reflect, one of my favorite go-to’s is ambient lighting. There’s nothing like the soft glow of light in any space, especially during the dark winter months. But something about lamps in the kitchen space feel even more cozy. Maybe it’s because it’s a place for gathering and spending time with the ones we love. Whether it’s over a home-cooked meal, pizza night or that glass of water in the middle of the night, lamps in the kitchen turn it into a moment.
