Five Things Friday - lighting, shackets, kids bedrooms, and drapery

1. I’m such a fan of lamps in the kitchen. I’m constantly rearranging, and placing lamps in new spots around my house. This beauty came this week for our office, and I LOVE IT! Vintage terra cotta… could it be more my love language? I think not.

2. Speaking of lighting, Rejuvenation is providing all of the lighting for our office! The table lamps and floor lamp came this week, and the quality is unmatched. It’s one thing to see something online, but to see it in person is a whole other level. I especially love the fluted detail at the bottom of the floor lamp!

3. I have drapery on my brain! There are a few places in my home that need a little extra warmth, and drapes are a great way to add that. I’m looking at beige linen fabric for most places… Including my bedroom, front door (I know, shocking, but it needs a curtain), and bathroom. I’ll keep you updated! But here’s some inspiration. 4. A trend I’m loving right now is shackets. They are super comfortable, oversized, and basically feel like you’re wearing a blanket. We ordered everyone on our team this one, and I love it!!! Here’s some inspiration for wearing this trend.

5. Starting to think about Krew’s bedroom design! I’m not big on investing in pieces that won’t grow with my kids (that’s what toys are for! ha) Here’s some pieces I’m looking at. I’m also planning on painting his room the same green color as the nightstands (greens his favorite color)!
