Creating a Cohesive Design through Entire Home

A commonly asked question we get is “how do you create a cohesive look through an entire home?” I’ve been really thinking about this topic how to best answer the question and what it really comes down to is the design process.

Here, at Light & Dwell, we dive deep to understand our clients wants and needs and then design a reflection of that. But it’s not something that always comes easy, especially when designing your own home. I am breaking down my design process below to give you a little insight on how I begin and what inspired the Kidd European Farmhouse into the cohesive look it is today.
