Five Things Friday
1. Austin, Texas is such a fun city! It was my first time going, and we were only there for a few days, so we packed a lot in to 48 hours! If you are a foodie, you would absolutely LOVE it. The amount of delicious restaurants are endless. It's a good thing the city is also known for their outdoor activities, because I ate my way through the city! One of my favorite things we did was bike around the Lady Bird Lake. It's a beautiful path that goes around the lake, which is right in the heart of Austin. I also loved eating at Hopdoddy... You guys, the burgers are AMAZING. So good! Rainy Street was also a really fun atmosphere at night. It's a beautiful city, with lots to do! I definitely want to go back.
2. You all knew this one was coming... Magnolia Market! It was just how I imagined it would be. There were SO many people there (and we went mid day on a Tuesday), but every single person was in such a great mood (regardless of the 110 degree heat and major lines). I was really inspired, and I hope to go back again when it's not so hot ;)
3. While on my trip, I started the book, "Rising Strong", by Brene Brown. I've underlined almost every other word. It's great for all you entrepreneurs, creatives, and leaders out there. Here's one of the many quotes I underlined, "If you have no tolerance for failure, you will not create anything new." Simple, but really true.
4. We had a really fun install yesterday in Corvallis! Here's a few pictures I snapped on my phone of the kitchen remodel. Professional ones to come, as well as all of the sources!
5. While in Austin, I went to the TOMS store, and fell in love with these shoes!
Have a great weekend!
