Kidd New Build / Kitchen Inspiration

When I say I’ve had a few sleepless nights thinking about the design of our kitchen, that’s an understatement… I have gone back and forth, in lots of different directions with this space, because it means SO much to me. The kitchen is the heart of the home, and our family has a lot of serious food allergies and an auto-immune disease, so having a safe, functional, beautiful kitchen is really important to us. I see it as a place for our family to find comfort and safety (since we can rarely eat out). I see it as a place where we will entertain and make lots of memories. Design is so much more than making a space “look good”, it’s about creating an environment that makes you feel 100% comfortable, inspired and at home. I think I’m finally getting somewhere with our kitchen, and boy… I’m excited about it!
