Five Things Friday
1. Can you believe that Christmas is on Tuesday? It’s hard to believe. Every year, the Christmas season feels shorter and shorter to me, anyone else? I’m trying to soak up all things Christmas until the New Year.
On another note, see this beautiful pottery?! Our friend Caitlin who just started working for us has an amazing pottery shop on Etsy. Both Aymee and I love pottery, and its been fun collaborating with Caitlin on original pieces to create for different clients. We care so much about our clients, so any personal touch we can add to a space is a fun thing for us to do.
2. Every Christmas season, Brad and I take the kids shopping for a family in need. Yesterday, we delivered this package of toys, books, and home goods for a refugee family (single mom and four young kids). This family has been through SO much, and to watch my kids create and deliver this gift was the highlight of the season for me.
3. We signed on our property, and are ready to break ground! To celebrate, we’re going out to dinner tonight (it also happens to be our 9 year wedding anniversary)! I’m wearing this velvet dress (currently on sale) that I’ve been excited to wear for the holidays!
4. I absolutely love cooking during the holidays! It’s one of my favorite things. Here are a few of my favorite serving pieces that work any time of the year (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).
5. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate Christmas, Aymee and I will be celebrating at Grace City Church in Corvallis on Sunday at 10 AM. We meet at the Whiteside Theatre. We’d love to see you there!
Have a great weekend!
