Five Things Friday

1. Last Friday, I talked about McGee and Co launching their new line, and shared a few of our favorite items.  They were kind enough to send us some of our favorite items from their new line!  Both Ayms and I decided on the large market tote as one of our favorite items (surprise, surprise we would choose the same thing!).  Ayms also chose a lotion dispenser and some cotton tea towels.  I chose a terra cotta vase and glass market jars.  Here's how I styled my new items in my kitchen (every item we chose was under $50 - bonus!).

2. I've been loving natural elements this season (both in interiors and in fashion).  When it comes to interiors, anything with texture and earth tones is catching my eye (natural baskets, terra cotta, wood, linens).  Here are some spaces and items I'm loving with natural elements. 3. It seems like I'm always drawn to floral patterns for Spring (go figure!). Here are some items I'm loving (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

4. This week I spent some time looking over our future house plans, and tweaking a few things.  One thing on the plans is a mudroom with LOTS of storage and brick floors.  This image is saved under my secret "Future Home" board on Pinterest.... Isn't it pretty?
