Five Things Friday

1. We've finally decided on vertical board and batten for our exterior siding on our new house! I'm so excited! Here are some pictures of how it will look!  TBD on the color.

2. I've been all about wearing scarves these days in my hair.  One of the reasons is because I can go another day without washing it ;) Praise the Lord for dry shampoo, am I right? Here are a few scarves I'm loving (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), and a few ways I love to wear them.

3. I found the perfect fall sweater... it's literally the sweater of my dreams (stripes, my favorite colors, and it's flowy).  I can't wait to wear it!  Here are a few more sweaters I love for fall (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

4. We're working on a vacation home in BEND that I'm over the moon excited about! We met with our client this week, and it was fun hearing all about her hopes and needs for the space.  Envision lots of natural elements, black and whites, and modern mountain design.  I've been pinning all week, here are a few inspiration pictures I've already saved for when I start designing the project.

5. Whenever I get asked how I'm "juggling" it all, I laugh.  Because, frankly, I'm not.  I have a really supportive husband, a babysitter, and I have to say "no" to a lot of things these days.  This picture below is my life in a nutshell. Loud, crazy, exhausting... but perfect to me.  We all need to be more "real" on the internet.  Aymee and I try our best to be ourselves in this small space of influence we have on the web, and want everyone to feel comfortable and invited.  We do the same in our design.  We want our designs to be inviting, comfortable, and authentic.  We never want our clients to feel intimidated or embarrassed of their homes, because our job is to go into peoples homes and transform them into the best versions they can be.
