Five Things Friday - a thoughtful December, next weeks install, sustainable gifts

1.I can’t believe it’s already December! I think we all needed this month… I know I did. This month brings so much hope and joy, and is full of celebration and reflection. This year has been challenging for everyone, and I’m looking forward to having a month where I celebrate what matters most. This is the first year where I didn’t buy a single item on Black Friday or cyber Monday… I know… Who am I?! One, I didn’t really have time to, but second, I didn’t want to make any impulse purchases. As our company continues to strive towards sustainable product sourcing, I’m more and more thoughtful about my purchases (and that includes gifts). All of the gift guides / items we’ve shared about the holidays have been full of thoughtful gift ideas, and we’re trying to source as many sustainable products as possible. Our company is far from perfect, but we’re really making an effort and a shift to be more intentional.

5. We have an install next weekend for our Avenues Project! We will be coming back in January to photograph it and capture video. Installs feel like Christmas morning to me, so I’m very excited! Some inspiration for this project. All images with sources on our Pinterest.
