Kidd Mudroom Reveal (plus, sources!)

We’re sharing the Kidd Laundry Room/Mudroom today! Living in the country, having a good mudroom is really important! With young kids, it was important to us to have a dutch door, so we could keep it open for kids to come up and talk to us if they needed anything. We also wanted really durable floors, so we went with a brick tile and grout the same color as the brick.

I get asked why we didn’t put lockers in our mudroom, and the honest truth is… I didn’t want the lockers in our mudroom, they belong in our garage (not pretty, and messy)! My husbands a baseball coach, my kids are young and have a lot of outdoor activities, so having cubbies inside our home wasn’t where I wanted to store all their dirty/smelly things, ha. I’m happy with that decision!

We had empty space under our stairs, so I had Jason from Bourbon Moth, build us a little reading nook. My kids love this space! We store all their craft stuff and books under the drawers. It’s the perfect spot, with a little extra storage.

Here’s our laundry/mudroom!
