Kidd Entry Reveal (plus, sources!)
I’ve been looking forward to sharing our home with you for a long time! So many of you have been so kind and shared in our excitement throughout the entire build process. Building our own home wasn’t something we thought we’d do for a long time, Brad and I both feel so grateful for the opportunity. We were very hands on throughout the entire process, on the site daily, and worked with a contractor who let us do a lot of the work ourselves. We thought through everything, and I’m excited to share it all with you!
Unlike our full service projects where we share similar “get the look” boards, I tried to share as many of the actual items in my home that are still on the market today. Keep in mind, a lot of the items in my home are vintage, and some no longer available in stores, but I did curate items that are very similar if they aren’t available.
Today, I’m sharing our Entry! Here we go!

I wanted our entry to be warm, earthy, and inviting. My personal style is such a mix of vintage and new, but the overall feel of our home is earthy, curated, and European. I want friends and family to enter our home and feel welcome, and for nothing to feel overly stuffy, but to have an overwhelming sense of warmth and calm as they enter. Putting words to how you want your home to feel is very important, and it’s one of the first things I ask our clients. I tried to mix both vintage and modern pieces throughout our home to give it a “lived in” feel.
