Five Things Friday
1.Last weekend, I finally started a gallery wall in our entry. I’d been wanting to start it for a while, and finally had some time to start it. I plan on adding more to it over time, but I’ve got a good start.
2. Mother’s Day was simple, laid back, and relaxing. It was perfect for me! I slept in until 9:30 (I know, who am I?!), went on a family hike, visited my mom from her porch and my mother in law, Karis and Krew made me the sweetest homemade gifts, and I took a bath. Yep, pretty perfect to me.
3. I am a sneakers girl at heart (and so is Aymee)! We recently received two pairs from Nisolo that are SO comfortable and well made. It’s nice to mix it up from my typical white sneaker, for something a little different, but still neutral enough to go with everything. I received this pair, and Ayms got this pair.
4. Did you see our garden blog post on Wednesday? I obviously have gardening on the brain right now. Brad is currently putting our yard together. He’s starting with the fence and garden beds (because, priorities around here, ha). I’ve never been more excited about gardening gloves and gardening tools. Here are some of my recent gardening purchases.
5. I made these delicious gluten free oatmeal chocolate chip cookies this week… and basically ate all the dough (because we don’t eat eggs in this family due to allergies, therefore raw cookie dough isn’t an issue)! I added in some white chocolate chips, and OH MY WORD, THEY ARE SO GOOD.
Have a great weekend (if you can even remember what day it is)!
