October Mood Board, Project Updates and Recent Lifestyle Finds
This past week, many of our projects hit exciting milestone. Framing, painting, and cabinetry installs to name a few. Believe it or not, we head out to our next install in Tennessee at the end of October! This project is one of our most minimal to date, which really reflects our clients lifestyle and what they stand for. This home is located in the middle of a forest, it has windows everywhere, and the outdoors really does all the talking. Our team is SO excited to share this one with you! In other news, we received our Nebraska Lake House photos and video, which we will be sharing as soon as we can! We’ve also been working on some new Light and Dwell swag that I’m very, very excited about. There’s lots going on around here!
Project Updates
Painting is happening at our Utah European Modern Project, and it’s looking SO beautiful. This home has contrast trim throughout, which gives it that traditional European look. Fun side note, the client was having a hard time with the contrast trim up until she saw it finished this week, and I received a message saying, “THE TRIM LOOKS SO AMAZING!!!!!” That’s what you want to hear as a designer ;)
Our Pronghorn Project, Austin Project, Villa Project, and Cottage Project are all in the same framing phase. Here’s a photo from Austin! The windows and views of this project are going to be STUNNING. So excited for our site visit in early November!
Aymee’s Fall Wardrobe Picks
Aymee pulled together some of her fall picks for October. Did I mention we really love fall here at Light and Dwell?? Loving these cozy pieces.
October Mood Board
Every month I create a mood board. I pin it up to my board next to my desk, and it reminds me of the natural palette that is available this time of year. I start with a floral arrangement, then go from there. It doesn’t just have to be interior images, I often use lifestyle/nature/and sometimes quotes. It’s a great creative exercise that gets me excited for this season! This is by inspiration board for October (which happens to be my favorite month of the year).
Recent Finds
I have discovered the best eyeshadow palettes (I use teak), that give the best pop of color, and don’t give you 5,000000 unneeded extra colors that you have to pay for. Not to mention, this is a clean beauty brand that our team all loves. While you’re there, make sure you snag this perfume, it is the best. Recently added this cutie to my ring collection, love the beaded detail and affordable diamonds?! (need I say more…)
Have a great weekend!
