Krew's Bedroom Preview

We are finally starting to put together the kid’s rooms in our Kidd European Farmhouse! When I tell you our kids rooms have been an absolute disaster and free for all since we moved in, would you believe me?! Well, it’s true :) We’ve been waiting for Karoline to get a little older and out of her crib before moving rooms around. Karis and Karoline will share a room, and Krew will now have his own room! I’ve been excited to design the kids rooms for a few reasons… 1. COLOR on the walls. 2. THEY’RE SO EXCITED!!! Which makes me so excited!

Today we are starting with the preview of Krew’s bedroom. When thinking about his bedroom, I wanted to stay about from anything too “themed”, because kids grow out of that! Also, if we ever have guests stay, they might end up staying in this room. I wanted it to feel “boyish”, yet grow with him as he grows. His favorite color is green and I am so excited to use more color in his room, especially the wall color - Smoky Forest by Dunn Edwards (one of my all time favorite greens). We’re also bringing in a lot of texture and pattern to keep it feeling youthful. Can’t wait to share the full reveal with you all soon!
