Nebraska Lake House Reveal - Part 3

Today we’re sharing the last of our Nebraska Lake House Project! We were on this project for 2 years, and so enjoyed working with this client. Their reactions were so sweet, this has been a dream home of theirs for a long time and we even got a few tears! We felt so lucky to be a part of their story and their family memories for years to come. To hear more about this project, and all that went into it, make sure you watch our Project Reveal Video below!

These final spaces can be summed up in three words, moody, cozy, and relaxing. For a lake home, the rich charcoal color of the bunks makes a lot of sense. Adding vintage pieces to these spaces, gives this room a curated, lived in aesthetic we were hoping for.

In the entry we included the oversized vintage wine jar adds so much texture and warmth. Books are also a great way to add height, color, and personality to any home. Olive green is one of our signature colors and we incorporated it in the guest bedroom giving it an earthy feel. One of our favorite vintage pieces we found while antiquing in Omaha during the install is the stool in the bunk room. The sweet floral embroidery adds a vintage "childish look" we were needing for that space. We added an arabesque marble in the powder bathroom for added drama and interest. The laundry room sets the tone for the "European" look we were going for. The timeless bead board on all of the walls, painted wooden knobs and drying rack, and creamy greige paint color gives this laundry room the "European" details we were going for.
