June Gloom Who?
Summer is nearly here and I could not be more excited! Tis the season for lounging in the sun, al fresco dining, backyard picnics and summer soirees. This month I will be sharing a few of my summer staples including cocoa colored swim, eyelet everything, and a few gardening goodies. Shop my must-haves!
I do a lot of monochromatic dressing in the summer and definitely gravitate towards whites, creams, and sets. I love the versatility of a set; you can easily breathe new life into a look by simply mix and matching the pieces. This Doen set is the perfect example and a must have in my eyes. As far as accessories go, I usually include a sun hat (Jenni Kane makes the perfect one), a straw tote, and some fun earrings. I am loving silver at the moment and am very excited to incorporate it into my summer wardrobe. I recently snagged these cute hoops from J.Crew. They’re nice and light weight too! I also want to make note of my current go to roll-on perfume. I am obsessed with the tulip scent, it’s absolutely perfect for summer; light, airy, and fresh.
If you’ve been following along for a while, you know I’m very passionate about florals and love creating arrangements with whatever I can find in my yard. A chic pair or shears and a gardening tray for blooms make the ritual even more enjoyable. I’m also a big fan of backyard hosting and cannot wait to debut this Sea New York tablecloth.
