Villa with a View Pt. I
Welcome to our #villawithaviewproject. Come on in! This project is really something special. Nestled in the property’s very own vineyard, this dwelling is surrounded by old-age oak trees and rolling hills popular among goats and deer. For this home, we chose our European and Ranch aesthetics. Throughout the 4k sq ft. house, which is full of bespoke pieces (mainly vintage), we wanted to create a lighter version of a rustic ranch home. We pared it down, creating a fresh, European-inspired feeling while retaining the essential brawny character of the home.
Our client’s chic Pacific Northwest villa may be the essence of a modern-day vineyard, but there’s no compromise with comfort. Our client wanted their home to have soulful layers and feel wholeheartedly “home”. The natural light in the kitchen sets the tone for the entire home. Our Frankie Stools make for the perfect pairing against the wood cabinetry and patina finishes to create the allure of our dream European Ranch retreat.
The entry deserves a first impression rose, if we do say so ourselves. The living room is full of neutral hues and yummy textures that sit in front of a vintage-inspired fireplace mantle. We have a 50/50 initiative in every project where we mix well-loved vintage pieces with custom made products, increasing the life of already-made materials and supporting local makers.

In the dining room, a custom spindle table sits in front of a giant row of windows layered with 10’ drapery bringing a really organic indoor/outdoor element. We think a lot about how a home feels as you move through it. What emotions do you feel when you enter it? How do the transitions feel from space to space? Is the ambiance lighting right? How does the palette and textiles play off of each other? Walking around— a cohesive home is our ultimate goal. A livable dwelling that makes you FEEL and is a reflection of your everyday life.
The exterior of the home was highly influenced by Northern California vineyards and villas with organic stone elements to create a romantic “hideaway” feeling.
