Kidd Dining Room Reveal (plus, sources!)
Today we’re sharing the Kidd Dining Room! We aren’t formal dining room people, but I also didn’t want our dining room to feel like a forgotten space. I wanted it to be apart of the great room, but at the same time, give it an intimate feel. It’s located in a spot that gets lots of natural light, and is closed in by 3 walls, giving it the intimate feel we were going for. We like to have friends and family over a lot. We host baseball meetings, have friends over for dinner, and family holidays in this space, so it needed to be apart of the great room. Originally, I wanted a built in bench, but changed my mind when I started thinking about the need to move the table around depending on what we’re hosting. Another way to make this room stand out, is to give it some wall detail. I knew I wanted it to be white, since it bleeds into the kitchen cabinets that are a greige color.
It’s the perfect size, and serves our family well! Here are more pictures and the design board to go with it!
