Kidd Kitchen Reveal (plus, sources!)
Today we’re excited to share the Kidd Kitchen with you!
This was my most indecisive room in the entire house! I had such a hard time choosing the cabinet color for our kitchen. I went back and forth, then back, then forth, five hundred times (just ask Brad). I’m always really decisive with clients, but had such a hard being decisive for my own home. BUT, it’s done, and I’m so happy with how it how it turned out! It feels very us, and that’s what I wanted. It’s a mix of old and new, and this room feels the most “European Farmhouse” out of any of them. I knew I wanted warm cabinets, but nothing dark. Choosing the right greige took a long time, and it wasn’t until the very last minute that I decided on “Naturel” by Sherwin Williams. It’s a warm greige, that changes depending on the time of day, and it has a little tint of green to it. We went with leathered black granite countertops (which was also a last minute swap… ha!), which we are really happy with.
Our kitchen doesn’t have any upper cabinets, and that was intentional. We don’t have a lot of extra stuff, and our pantry holds all of our countertop appliances/dishware/and a lot of our canned goods. I wanted our kitchen to feel larger, and for the tile and hood to be the main feature. Our hood was custom by our neighbor and good friend, Jason from Bourbon Moth (a lot of our pieces are custom by him)! Perks of being neighbors!
Here’s the kitchen!
