Molly's October Musings
An Early Gift Guide
In the spirit of my birthday month (hello Scorpio season) I thought I would share my wish list; an early gift guide if you will. The selects range from clothing to homewares and I’ve even included a point and shoot film camera; all are items I’m dying to get my hands on. I can actually check off one of them already thanks to my hubby. You may have guessed it… My Toteme sweater scarf dreams fulfilled!!
The number one item on my wish list for this season (and last) has been the Toteme Embroidered wool-blend scarf jacket. The stakes got even higher when I came across this exclusive chocolate color way. It’s such a beautiful piece, a true heirloom and I am obsessed with the ease and versatility of this statement piece. I would also love to get my hands on a few more pairs of Adidas Sambas and Gazelles. They are a staple in my current wardrobe (I might have a few too many, but the more the merrier for the holiday season!); they are chic and practical for running around job sites. I always have my eye on a few home goods each season as well. I am especially drawn to the Squiggle pitcher by Sophie Lou Jacobsen, everything by her is a dream. I have also included a few more knits, you can never have enough in my opinion, especially for the cozy vibes this Fall. A fun little point and shoot film camera would also make a great gift! Stay tuned, as I will most certainly be sharing more gift guides as the holidays get closer.. Happy shopping, hopefully we’re twinning this season!!! What is your favorite item?

This week, we had the privilege of shooting professional “family portraits” of our furniture collection! Designing custom sustainable, heirloom pieces is something I have loved doing for clients for many years. I am so proud that this past year, we designed and launched our first line of foundational furniture. These pieces are a reflection of our core principles: sensibility and sustainability. Hints why quality craftsmanship was top of mind while working with our woodworker on using only sustainably harvested white oak (fallen oak trees) in the PNW. They are hand-crafted to last a lifetime and are true works of art. It has been such an honor to sell these pieces across the nation and see them in your homes. We hope to see them passed down as generational heirlooms or maybe end up at an antique store in 20+ years. We love pouring our souls into this passion project and hope you can feel the intention.
